In 1992 Nufab Industries Pty Ltd commenced manufacturing mobile grain cleaners. Through contract cleaning work and the commissioning of new machines, a clear understanding of the demands and requirements of grain growers and marketers throughout Australia was developed.

- There are over 185 Nufab Grain Cleaners in use, with more than 30 machines carrying out contract grain cleaning throughout Australia. The work these contractors do varies from job to job.
- Precision cleaning of pulses to human consumption standards and all types of grains to seed quality are carried out at slower rates.
- The majority of cleaning for market delivery is with wheat, barley and canola, at rates as high as 70 tonnes per hour.

- The Nufab Grain Cleaner is a hydraulic drive three stage cleaner
- Vacuum aspiration to remove lightweight material (usually weeds, grasses and hulls), screening of undersize grain, and scalping of oversize contaminants.

- The machines are used mainly by farmers to value add their grain, often achieving a substantial increase in value of 25%.
